CSEND gave a Workshop on CDM Investment: A Multi-Stakeholder Simulation Exercise "Can We Make a CDM Deal?" during the 9th China International Fair for Investment & Trade. This workshop was organised by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Geneva, and sponsored by State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (seco), Switzerland, 10 -11 September 2005, Xiamen, China.
CSEND gave keynote speech "HR Quality in Training and Development" at the Conference on Human Resource Management and Development for Globalizing Enterprises in Chinese Taipei on 27 May, 2005.
CSEND, together with scholars of the Management Education and Development Division, Academy of Management, U.S.A., organised a joint special panel on "Training for Results: Methodological Inquiry" for the 13th NISPAcee Annual Conference on "Democratic Governance for the XXI Century: Challenges and Responses in CEE Countries". Moscow, Russia, 19-21 May, 2005.
EXECUTIVE LEARNING CENTER in Shanghai hosted our workshop on "Assuring Quality & Return on Investment in HRD: A Strategic HR Function for Corporate Competitiveness" on 14 May 2005 in Shanghai.
CSEND gave a speech entitled "Ensuring efficacy and efficiency of training investment based on ISO 10015 Quality Assurance" at a conference on the Role of Training in the Implementation of the Policy of Sustainable Spatial Development in Europe: ENTO, CLRACE, CEMAT, UDITE, at Council of Europe, Strasbourg on 15 March, 2005.
CSEND gave a presentation on "High Quality Resource as Key Requirement for National Economic Competitiveness" at National Productivity Corporation's seminar on 9 March, 2005 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Facilitated by OECD, CSEND gave two speeches entitled "Economic Growth, National Competitiveness and Education" and "Continuous Learning: Key Driver for Social and Economic Development" at Working Group 1: Education for Economic Development of the international education conference on Governance and Education for Sustainable Development and European Integration during 27 -29 January 2005 in Graz, Austria at the University of Graz.
